Design

Dramatic and thrilling, the stunning exterior design works in complete harmony with the quest for aerodynamic perfection. The shrink-wrapped aluminium body panels and teardrop-shaped cockpit of the 570S Coupé reduce drag resistance. A range of striking exterior colors, five alloy wheel designs and an array of personalisation options result is a sports car that looks as thrilling as it is to drive. Inspired by the McLaren P1™ supercar, slimline light blade LED tail lights accentuate an expanse of open mesh for enhanced engine cooling and a technical, futuristic appearance. The mid-mounted engine is visible beneath the lightweight mesh, while an aggressive ‘floating’ diffuser enhances downforce for supremely confident handling. A signature McLaren feature, the dihedral doors swing open to make entering and leaving as effortless as possible. The teardrop-shaped cockpit of the Sports Series Coupé culminates in a pair of flying buttresses, linking the roof to the car’s flowing rear deck to provide an incredibly athletic silhouette.

Interior

An elegant, uncluttered interior architecture features the finest hand-stitched leather, satin-chrome highlights and a ‘floating’ centre console. An advanced TFT instrument display offers crisp LCD graphics configured in line with adaptive driving modes. No other sports car offers such an intoxicating combination of sophistication and race-bred technology. A central zone displays vital information, including road speed, engine rpm and gear selection. Turn-by-turn navigation, a trip computer and engine operating temperatures are displayed in the outer sections. Information is prioritized according to vehicle mode, with a race car-style display activated in Track mode and distinctive colours clearly signalling the ideal gearshift point. Our wide choice of colours, designs and leathers allows you to find your ideal interior look – from super racy to highly luxurious. Additionally, we have a selection of 13 exclusively tailored By McLaren designer interiors, all featuring bespoke materials and colour palettes.

Performance

Accelerate from standstill and the McLaren 570S Coupé will reach 100km/h (62mph) in just 3.2 seconds and get to 200km/h (124mph) in a staggering 9.5 seconds. But it’s the way it makes you feel as it delivers those figures that’s so crucial. It immerses you in the experience, connects you to the road and engages your senses completely. The all-aluminium twin-turbocharged engine is mounted extremely low in the chassis for enhanced agility. Torque is served progressively over an incredibly broad powerband, encouraging the driver to use all 8500rpm. A stop-start system seamlessly shuts down the engine when stationary, improving efficiency and refinement. The seven-speed seamless-shift gearbox can be used in Auto mode for maximum convenience, or controlled via steering-wheel-mounted rocker-shift paddles for manual gear selection. The 570S Coupé features a louder exhaust sound compared to the 540C and 570GT. For an even more potent growl, a Sports Exhaust is available as an option and provides a stunning soundtrack to the car’s performance.
